Accepting these terms

By creating an account, buying a plan or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

EnglishPro is an online platform for learning English. It offers courses organised by CEFR level, lessons with videos and materials, quizzes and tests, a placement test, personal notes and discussions, and certificates of completion. Some content is open as a free preview; most of it requires an active plan.

Your account

• You must be at least 16, or use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• An account is personal. You must not share it, sell it or let others use it.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password safe and tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
• If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to that sign-in.

Plans, prices and payment

• A plan gives you access to the courses, lessons, tests and certificates for the duration shown at checkout.
• Prices are shown in Tunisian dinars (TND).
• Each plan is a single payment. There is no automatic renewal: when a plan ends, you choose whether to buy another one.
• Card payments are made on the secure page of our payment provider, ClicToPay. We never see or store your card details.
• Your access starts once the payment is confirmed. If you were charged and your access is not active, contact us and we will fix it.
• When a plan ends, your progress, notes and certificates stay on your account and are available again when you renew.

Refunds

Access to digital content starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. If you think you are entitled to a refund, write to us through the Contact page and we will examine your request fairly. Your legal rights as a consumer, which cannot be removed by contract, are not affected.

Courses and levels

Courses are organised by CEFR level and open one level after the other: a course unlocks when you hold the certificate for the level below it or when the placement test places you at its level. We may add, change, reorder or remove courses and lessons to keep the content accurate and useful.

Tests and certificates

• You earn a certificate by completing a course and passing its final test. Each certificate has a serial number and can be checked online.
• A certificate confirms that you completed one of our courses. It is not an official diploma and does not replace internationally recognised exams such as IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge.
• We may withdraw a certificate that was issued by mistake or obtained by cheating.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, record, share, resell or publish our courses, videos, texts, audio or tests;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated means to collect content or to take tests;
• cheat in tests, for example by letting someone else take them for you;
• try to get around the paywall, the level locks or any security measure, or to disrupt the site;
• post unlawful, offensive or misleading content, or impersonate someone else.

Your content

The notes and comments you write stay yours. You allow us to store and display them as needed to run the service, for example in discussions where other learners can read them. You are responsible for what you post, and we may remove content that breaks these terms.

Intellectual property

The courses, lessons, videos, texts, tests, logo and design of the site belong to Melekher or to its licensors. While your access is active, you have a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use them for your own learning, and nothing more.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the site available, but we cannot promise that it will always run without interruption. We may carry out maintenance and change or stop a feature. If a change seriously affects a plan you have paid for, we will tell you and look for a fair solution.

Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, involves fraud or abuse, or puts the service or other learners at risk. The parts of these terms that are meant to continue after the end of your access, such as intellectual property and liability, continue to apply.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

We provide the site to help you learn English and we do our best to offer good-quality content, but we cannot guarantee a particular result, level or exam success. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we change our offer. The "last updated" date at the top of the page always shows the current version. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new version. We will tell you about important changes on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, and the courts of Tunisia have jurisdiction, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
